Adsorption dryers use special desiccants which, due to their material properties, are able to absorb a particularly large amount of moisture. This method is so effective that the pressure dew point can be stably reduced to -40°C to -70°C.
In our shop we currently only offer cold regenerated adsorption dryers. These are generally more energy efficient than heat regenerative dryers because they do not require an external heat source. For sensitive applications we recommend the ATON and ATO-ATK series, where the adsorption dryer is complemented by an activated carbon adsorber. This combination not only prevents the formation of condensation, but also uses the activated carbon to remove aerosols, odours and oil vapours from the air. The result is a better class of compressed air in this area.
